Choosing the Right Mouthpiece

COMFORT SIZES 1 & 2

The ZQuiet Comfort Refills are the same mouthpieces supplied in your original 2-Size Comfort System Starter Pack and is recommended for most people. Replace it at least every 4 to 6 months for the best results.

FIRM SIZES 1 & 2

Designed for people that clench and grind their teeth and/or prematurely wear out the standard Comfort Mouthpiece. Made with a stiffer grade material and extra strong hinge, the ZQuiet Firm Refill should only be used by people with very healthy teeth and strong jaws.

Find Your Size

Before you reorder, identify the ZQuiet mouthpiece size that worked best for you.

SIZE 1

Recommended if you have an overbite (lower front teeth sit behind the upper front teeth) or have a normal bite with light to moderate snoring.

SIZE 2

Recommended if you have an underbite (lower front teeth protrude in front of the upper teeth) or have a normal bite with heavy snoring.

How to Determine the Correct Size:

Identify the mouthpiece size by looking for the "1" or "2" inside the circle on the underside of the tray for the upper teeth as shown in the diagram below.

Mark: It had gotten to the point where my wife and I weren’t able to sleep in the same bedroom consistently.

Lynette: I had to keep pushing or kicking, waking him up and after he would wake up you know maybe there were 10 minutes or 15 minutes before he would start snoring again. And I hope I would fall asleep during that time. But if I didn’t, it just made for a long night.

Mark: One time I remember my wife brought in a recording.

Lynette: I said listen to this and he was like “what is that? Is that some animal?” No it is you. You are snoring. He could not believe. He couldn't believe it.

Mark: There's an undercurrent; probably of resentment.

Lynette: It would make me crazy and then I would start to just get irritated. Sometimes I would lie in bed and think why he doesn’t just start out in the other room tonight. Because I don't want to be bothered by this, sorry.
