First night was great, no pain!

This Zquiet advance is my third mouthpiece. Each one I have tried has given me tooth pain that would last for hours and I would notice my bite had adjusted from my teeth moving. This new Zquiet advance molds to your teeth and does not put direct pressure on your front teeth which is fantastic. I am so relieved to have found a solution that stops the snoring AND does not hurt my teeth. It also feels less bulky in your mouth so talking and breathing seems much easier that other mouthpieces. The manufacturer recommends replacing every 6 months so a program for repeat customers to help with the cost would be a real bonus. I am excited to wear it again tonight and have a restful sleep pain free!

Initial review

The ZQuiet Advance Custom Anti-Snoring Mouthpiece works well. Since the teeth are molded into the mouthpiece, the lower jaw is held forward more evenly; instead of putting pressure only on the front teeth as with your other device.

Great new product

The Z Quiet Advance works well, and I've tried several other brands. According to my spouse, I've now stopped snoring completely. I also don't wake myself at all anymore. I think the fact that the upper and lower parts of this mouthguard are separate pieces is the key to its fit and comfort. You can move your jaws around and even talk with it in your mouth somewhat. Regarding the boil and bite stage, I detached the upper and lower parts from each other, boiled them separately, and bit down on them separately too. This worked better for me in terms of getting a custom fit. I attached the straps afterwards. The little knobs onto which the straps are attached were sharp at first and scratched the insides of my cheeks, but they seem to have worn down a little. I very much appreciate ZQuiet creating and offering this product.

good trial pre custom made device

I have sleep apnea and afib and need to protect my heart. I have tried CPAP unscuccessfully. Before opting for a custom made oral appliance, I talked to my sleep doctor about trying the ZQuiet to determine if I tolerated an oral appliance and if it was worth considering. I used the ZQuiet on the Number 3 setting and found it very comfortable and doable. I am very pleased with it. Now I know I can go on to get the custome device. I will consider the ZQuiet as a backup as necessary. Thank you.

So Comfortable!

I have purchased other anti-snoring mouthpieces for my sleep apnea but they are so bulky I can't stand them. This is the only one I can wear all night. It is So Comfortable and really cuts down on my snoring and helps stop my sleep apnea. I wear the one that juts my lower jaw out the farthest.

New device is great

After using the basic mouth piece with success i thought I'd give the new pro model a shot. I was skeptical and afraid I'd have to send it back at first, because when I did a test fit I could barely get it in my mouth. Decided to go through the fitting process and see what happened. Glad I did. Fits good, could be great but I rushed it a little. It does the trick too. My old basic was worn out and I was snoring again. Got this model done and bye bye snores....Thanks!

A good option for a mandibular advancement device

I have been using mandibular advancement devices for years. I started with a Silent Nite, which cost over $2000 though a local oral surgeon. After a bit, I settled on PureSleep which I used for many years with good success. Like many, it is fixed and you can defeat the device by opening your mouth. After some complaints from my wife that my snoring was worse, I tried multiple devices that were either hinged or added something ellse to the PureSleep. I tried Zyppah with the tongue band but found that uncomfortable and caused excessive drooling. I tried the SnoreRX plus which is hinged but found that to be very bulky and also somewhat uncomfortable. I settled on the standard ZQuet and have had good success with the Comfort Size 2. I never even tried 1. As the device is hinged it still works when your jaw is open and improved my snoring significantly, with monitorying by snore lab. When I saw this ZQuiet Advance device from the same company I decided to try it. Again, I have only used the most advanced 6 mm advancement as I was still using the Comfort 2 device. This advanced device is much smaller than others on the market and is a very good option. The connectors on the side which vary the advancement are very similar to the expensive Silent Nite. The smaller profile particularly in the front is a big improvement over others, particuarly SnoreRX plus. The device also allows for some jaw opening. I did find that switching the connectors a little bit diffictult and i did elevate one of the small outcroppings that hold the hinge to the device and I did feel that. I filed it down as the instructions say to do and it is OK now. My gut is that this device will need to be replaced as they say every 6 months at least and the connectors and where they attach might be prone to early failure. That said, I am using both this advanced device and the Comfort 2 regular ZQuiet for now and seeing which works best. This advanced device is a very good option.

I have been using the ZQuiet Advance model anti snoring mouthpiece for about two weeks. It was very easy to custom fit this unit to my mouth. It is also very unintrusive while wearing the device when sleeping. I haven't been officially diagnosed with a sleeping disorder. My only awareness that I do snore comes from my wife when she tells me that I often times wake her up at night from her slumber. I also have occasionally woke myself up due to my snoring. Since wearing the ZQuiet mouthpiece, I have noticed that I do sleep a bit longer and wake up more refreshed. I usually get 3-5 hours of sleep nightly. Lately, I'm sleeping more towards the five hour timeframe. When I ask my wife if she is still being awaken at night due to my snoring, she tells me that hasn't been an issue since I have used the ZQuiet mouthpiece. The personal reason for wanting to try the ZQuiet mouthpiece was is to avoid at all costs at having to use a CPAP machine. So far, I feel that I have found my alternative solution...the ZQuiet Advance Anti Snoring Mouthpiece.

Great night sleep

I've been using ZQuiet mouth guards for a few years now and just upgraded to the Advance model. I was hesitant at first with the whole process. I did not get a good fit the first time and reached out to ZQuiet and they provided excellent help to get it to fit correctly. However, after a week and a half one of the tabs broke off and the strap would not stay in place. ZQuiet replaced the mouth guard at their cost. I found it easier to disassemble before warming and doing the upper and lower separately to get the best fit possible and waiting a while for it to fully cool before adding the straps. Not only do I no longer snore, but I get the best sleep not waking myself or my husband during the night. I am a ZQuiet user for life. Robin C.

Both the Comfort and Advance mouthpieces share many similar traits. They are both FDA Cleared, safe and effective, made with medical grade materials, are thin and low-profile, and have a hinged design that allows natural jaw movement.

The differences are that the Advance is moldable and has 4 levels of jaw advancement adjustment and works with straight or crooked teeth, where the Comfort mouthpiece is ready-to-use out of the box and comes in 2 jaw advancement sizes and works best with straight front teeth.

How soon should I expect results with the ZQuiet
Advance Mouthpiece?

You should expect to see results the very first night you use it. Optimal results occur after determining which jaw advancement strap size works best for you.

How do I change the straps?

Once you have determined the correct strap size to use, you should remove and replace each strap on one side at a time. To remove the strap, you must position the strap so that the strap slots align with the post keys before it can be removed. Once both ends of the strap are removed, attach the new strap by aligning the strap hole and slots over the post key one end at a time.
