I believe the guard is working but i think the fitting process should be top fit then bottom fit not both together as i dont believe its a tight fit. The guard seems to move around a bit in my mouth
We are sorry to hear that your adjustment period with ZQuiet hasn't been easy. We recommend you remold the mouthpiece again to ensure a proper fit. Try boiling just the upper/lower (choose appropriate) tray 1 more time, but try the following. Heat the (upper/lower) tray in water at a low boil with the impression side down for 3 minutes. Remove and shake off excess water and re-insert on your teeth. Once inserted, use your fingers to press the excess impression material over the exposed part of the teeth and gums to tighten the retention around the teeth. Hopefully, that will solve the issue for you.

We suggest trying to bend or reshape the protrusions, or lightly smooth them with a file. We recommend you remold the mouthpiece again to ensure a proper fit.
